According to Tawasul website, the Al-Kawthar Village in Andalusia region of Spain has 490 residents.

The village has a Muslim population that is keen on preserving Islamic traditions.

They wear Islamic clothes and teach their children archery and horse-riding (based on a prophetic Hadith).

The Muslims, who are all from Granada, bought a large farm and founded the Al-Kawthar village a few years ago.

They then build a school and a mosque in which their children memorize the Holy Book using clay tablets.

Most of the people who came to this village with their family are highly-educated and had businesses in other parts of Spain but left their jobs to come here so that their children would grow up in an Islamic environment.
